Marylyn Leach, 87, of Holiday City Care Free section of Berkeley Twsp., NJ died on Wednesday July 4, 2018 at Holiday Care Center in Berkeley Twsp., NJ. She was born in Jersey City, NJ and moved to Berkeley Twsp., NJ 15 years ago. Marylyn was a realtor for Sacks Realty in Jersey City, NJ and a school secretary for the Jersey City Board of Education retiring in 1992. She was a member of the singles club, the bocce club and on the Carefree Gazette. Marylyn was an avid watercolor painter and photographer.
Marylyn is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Loretta Leach and her brother Robert Leach.
Surviving is her brother Joseph Leach and his wife Agnes of Toms River, NJ; her nieces MaryAnne Bernado and her husband Alan of Wood-Ridge, NJ and Kathleen Legowski and her husband Timothy of Carteret, NJ; her nephews Joseph Leach of Carteret, NJ and Thomas Leach and his wife Carol of Jersey City, NJ and her dear friend Mary Thompson of Berkeley Twsp., NJ.
Family will receive friends on Sunday July 8, 2018 from 2-6pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Monday July 9, 2018 at 10:30am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church in Berkeley Twsp., NJ. Burial will follow to St. Joseph Cemetery in Toms River, NJ.
