Alfred D. Bockmann, 78, of Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Friday, November 7, 2025.
Born in New Brunswick, NJ, he lived in Edison, NJ before moving to Berkeley Twp. in 2012.
Al was a Truck Driver for High Grade Beverage in North Brunswick and was a member of the Teamsters Union.
He was a US Army Vietnam War Veteran, serving from 1966 to 1969. He was the recipient of the Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.
Al was predeceased by his parents Alfred D. and Harriett Bockmann and his three sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Linda (nee Zeno), two children Dennis Bockmann of Lawrenceville, GA and Christy Bockmann of Berkeley Twp. and loved by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday 5:00pm – 9:00pm with a funeral service to be offered at 7:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River and Thursday 10:00am – 11:00am Burial to take place 12:30pm at the BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
