Alfred Melillo, Jr.

Alfred Melillo, Jr., 86 of Toms River, NJ passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at his home.

Alfred was born in Newark, NJ in 1938 to Alfred Melillo and Lucille (Biunno). He married Helen and had two children Anthony and Kevin.  Alfred was a Checker/ Longshoreman for Maher Terminals in Elizabeth, NJ for 45 years.  He was a member of International Longshoreman’s Association #1 .

Alfred is predeceased by his parents Alfred and Lucille and his wife Helen. 

Survived by his sons Anthony and Kevin Sr.  daughter in law Meredith, Grandchildren Kevin, Jr. Alexander James and Sofia Alovic.

The Committal Service for Alfred will be on Thursday February 13, 2025, 10am at Ocean County Memorial Park.
