Angela (Castagna) Maggs

Angela M. Maggs, 72, of Whiting, Manchester Twp., NJ, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025.

Born in Linden, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Garwood, NJ, before moving to Whiting 8 years ago.

Angela was Teacher at the Somerset Vocational Technical School for many years before her retirement.

She was predeceased by her husband Wayne Maggs in October 2017 and her son  John Maggs in November 2017.

Angela is survived by her daughter Jessica Rein.  Her boyfriend Chester Letostak and his children Jennifer and Theresa and five grandchildren Paul, Jr., Katie, Sam, Morgan and Rose.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, October 26, 2025 2:00pm – 6:00pm with a service at 4:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.
