Anna (Przybyla) Rusinska

Anna Rusinska, 73, of Toms River, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 21, 2025,  at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City.

Born in Poland, Anna’s life was a beautiful testament to strength, devotion, and the enduring power of love. In 1992, alongside her beloved husband Edward and their three sons, she bravely journeyed to the United States in pursuit of the American Dream. Through hard work, unwavering faith, and the warmth of her family, she helped build a life filled with love and legacy.

Anna was a devoted wife, a deeply loving mother, and a proud and joyful Babcia whose heart belonged to her seven grandchildren. Her home was always filled with the comforting aroma of her legendary pierogies — lovingly made, and never to be matched — a tradition that brought her family together and will be cherished forever.

A faithful parishioner of St. Justin’s Roman Catholic Church in Toms River, Anna carried her faith with grace and humility. She was the heart and soul of her family, a quiet strength who offered wisdom, comfort, and endless love.

Anna is survived by her devoted husband of over 50 years, Edward Rusinski; her cherished sons Roman, Marek, and Matt; her beloved brother Janusz and sister Ela; and her seven treasured grandchildren who were the light of her life. Her legacy of love, resilience, and family will live on in every life she touched.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in her honor on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 12 Noon at St. Justin’s RC Church, Toms River, NJ.
