Anthony V. Yacovacci

Anthony V. Yacovacci, 91, of Manchester, NJ, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Staten Island, NY before moving to Manchester 25 years ago.

Anthony was a Firefighter for FDNY Engine 318, Coney Island, NY for 31 years, retiring in 1991 as a Fire Marshall.

He served in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Corporal.

Anthony was predeceased by his wife Mary Lou in 2014.

He is survived by his three children Steven Yacovacci and his wife Sarah of Manalapan, NJ, Donna Cardone of Toms River, NJ, Regina Sturnialo and her husband Joseph of Middletown, NJ, three grandchildren Brandon, Emily and Robert and one great grandchild Arabelle.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, September 12, 2025 3:00pm – 7:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday, September 13, 2025 9:00am at St. Joseph RC Church, Toms River. Entombment to follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood, NJ.
