It was 90 years ago that you were placed on this earth and went home to be with your Savior on January 16, 2025. Antoinette was blessed with the finest collection of family and friends there could ever be. They were her life blood. She is now in the loving arms of her husband, Mikey, the love of her life. A great sister, friend and aunt, a thoughtful listener. She was stubborn, feisty and funny. Cheerful as the color yellow, recalling stories of years gone by, promising “next time you come” to share pictures, letters and the best meatballs ever! Born in Jersey City, NJ to Vicenzo Pasqualetto and Anna La Guidice. She enjoyed song, music, love and laughter with her eight siblings. Antoinette and Sadie were always up to some shenanigans, and it is rumored that Tessie, only 4, pushed Antoinette out of a window and a passerby heard screams and caught her.
As an adult Antoinette worked as a seamstress in the garment district of NYC and enjoyed the banking industry working for the Trust Company of NJ and mastering the 360 data management system. After marriage she became a loving homemaker, raising 2 boxers Dukie and Champ living in Plainfield then Toms River. Her love of Florida and Disney World was a summer destination for many many years. Antoinette’s sheer enjoyment was the style of rock and roll and A Capella singing by The Duprees. The greatest fan, you would find her at the concert halls, arena’s high school auditoriums and casinos, singing and swaying to the music. On numerous occasions, her favorite lead singer, Tommy Petillo would bring her on stage and sing “Angel Eyes”. What a thrill! The early days of casino gambling were too a destination by car, a bus or family. She loved those slots, “Cha Ching!” And don’t forget she was “Ottos” sister-in-law. There will never be anyone else that could take her place. A bright light may have diminished on this earth but is now radiating upon the heavens!
Antoinette is pre-deceased by her parents Vincenzo & Anna Pasqualetto, husband Mikey Maillero and siblings: Joseph (Mary), Gaetano (Iris), Tessie (Micky Carrano), Arthur (Rosemary) Angelo (Virginia) , James (Virginia) Sadie (Fred Blackshaw) Nephews, Tommy Contey, Jim Pasqualetto, Jimmy Boy Pasqualetto and Niece RoseAnn Ascolence.
Surviving is her dedicated loving and resilient youngest sister, Annie, and her heart broken husband Ottone Carchia. Together you made a difference.
Loving Godmother to Joey Carrano, Toni Anne Walsh, Freddie Blackshaw, Jr. Love to all surviving nieces, nephews, greats and friends. May God be good to you!
