Antonette (Castillenti) Daniels

Antonette Daniels (nee Castillenti), age 95, of Lavallette, NJ, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024.

Born in Canonsburg, PA, she has been a resident of Lavallette for the last 74 years.

Antonette, along with her late husband William, managed Borelli’s Grocery, Lavallette, NJ in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s.   

She also worked as a Waitress at the Cozy Nooke in Lavallette, was a Secretary for the Ocean County Board of Social Services, was an Election Board Worker for 30 years and worked for Senator John Russo in the 1980’s

Antonette was a parishioner of St. Bonaventure RC Church (now the Parish of St. Pio of Pietrelcina), Lavallette since 1951 and served as a volunteer for the Lavallette First Aid Squad and the Lavallette Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

She was predeceased by her husband William Daniels in 1994 and her daughter Diane Daniels in 2020.

Antonette is survived by her son and daughter in law Bill and Janet Daniels of Lavallette, NJ, and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 3:00pm – 7:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 706 Grand Central Ave., Lavallette, NJ.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday, September 26, 2024 10:00am at the Parish of St. Pio of Pietrelcina, Lavallette, NJ.  Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River, NJ.
