Ashli Crespo Galanos, 28, of Toms River, NJ passed away on September 11th, 2025.
Ashli was born on June 7, 1997 in Livingston, NJ to Miriam and Jose Crespo. She grew up in Toms River and went on to Toms River High School North, eventually going to cosmetology school at Paul Mitchell Jersey Shore for her cosmetology license, and proceeded to soar in her career as a Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist.
Ashli will be remembered for her heart, her infectious smile, her booming laugh, her unwavering loyalty and the way she loved and showed up for all those she loved and cared for. She will be remembered for her ambitions, how hard she worked to curate the life she wanted, her outstanding makeup and hair skills, the way she held close to her heart that she got to be the professional to make her clients and friends feel their most beautiful and authentic selves. She will be remembered for the hikes she loved to plan, the plants she took pride in repotting and bringing back to life, the mountains she took the best photos of, the beautiful sunrise and sunsets she experienced on those mountain tops she loved so much.
The thing Ashli will be most remembered for though is her love. Her ability to make you feel like you could accomplish anything, just because of how fiercely she loved and believed in you. She was the biggest cheerleader one could hope to have on their team. Ashli had a passion for life like no other, and her friends and closest family will honor her by living the way she would’ve wanted.
Ashli is survived by her husband, Andrew Galanos, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Travis and Rebecca Galanos, her mother-in-law, Camille Galanos, her brother, Antolin Crespo, her sister, Anastasia Crespo and her fiance, Malcolm Selby, and their beautiful daughter and Ashli’s favorite human, Saria Rose Selby, and her parents, Miriam and Jose Crespo, the friends she held close to her heart, and her work family at Wild Honey Hair Salon.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, September 18, 2025 4:00pm – 9:00pm and Friday 9:00am – 10:00am at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. Burial to follow the memorial gathering on Friday at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
