Asunta Bocchicchio

Asunta Bocchicchio, 99 of Jackson Township, passed from this life peacefully on Friday, February 13, 2026. She was born on August 14, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Frank and Anna Galano. She was a loving mother, devoted wife and proud grandmother. She loved and worried about her children, was known to be a great cook and is best described as a caring person. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Asunta is predeceased by her parents, Frank Galano; Anna Padavan Galano; husband, Carl R. Bocchicchio; brother Ralph Galano (Sonny); and sister, Carmela (Milllie) Palumbo.

Asunta is survived by her two sons, Michael Francis Bocchicchio of Jackson; Carl David Bocchicchio and his wife Judy of Peachtree, Georgia; grandchildren, Michael Bocchicchio Jr.; Gina Bocchicchio; Adrianne Bocchicchio; C. Matthew Bocchicchio, aka, Chip, and Christopher P. Bocchicchio. Great grandchildren, Noella Bocchicchio and Shea Stoll.

Committal Services will be held on February 26,2026 10:00am at BG. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, New Jersey
