Betty J. (Harris) Kuchler

Betty J. Kuchler (nee Harris), 96, of Berkeley Township, NJ passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at home.

Born in Irvington, NJ, she lived in Maplewood, NJ before moving to Berkeley Township in 1997.

Betty was an Office Manager with Maplewood Township for many years. She was also an Office Manager for a dental office in South Orange for many years.

She was predeceased by her husband William Kuchler in 1999 and her parents Theodore Harris and Julia (Kamm) Harris.

Betty is survived by her two children Karen Melvin of Whippany, NJ, and  William Kuchler of Manalapan, NJ, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A graveside service will be offered Friday, May 1, 2026 11:00am at Restland Memorial Park, 77 Deforest Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936.

Services are under the direction of the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.
