Bonita Dow Obituary

Bonita Renee Dow, 64 of Manchester passed from this life peacefully on Sunday, January 24, 2021.  Bonita was born February 15, 1956 in Newark, New Jersey to the late Robert Madsen and Joan Policastro Madsen.  She was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother and trusted friend.  She is best described by all who knew her as a feisty independent woman who lived for her grandchildren.  She was also a great cook and proud of her garden she started with the nursing home and she was president of the residents council there as well as a friend to so many there at Green Acres where she earned the nic name Queen B. She will be greatly missed. 

 

Bonita is predeceased by her parents, and husband, Robert Dow, Sr.

 

Bonita is survived by her son, Robert Dow and his fiance’ Monica Greene of Brookhaven, Pennsylvania; daughter, Tara DeSantis and her husband Thomas of Manchester; sister, Heather Ballard of Perth Amboy; nephews, Brian Ballard; Jason Ballard; Jessie Tice; grandchildren, Tyler DeSantis; Kayla DeSantis; Robert Dow III; close friends, Donna Lucisano of West Keansburg and Nancy Talamo of Hazlet.
