Carmela T. Siegrist

Carmela T. Siegrist, 101, of Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2025.

Born in South Orange, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Madison, NJ before moving to Berkeley Twp. in 2007.

She was an Executive Secretary of Mennen in NJ then was Secretary for the President of Pollution Control Industries in Essex Fells, NJ.

Carmela was an active parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp., where she served as a Eucharistic Minister.  She was also a member of the Italian American Club.

She was predeceased by her husband John Siegrist in 2017.

Carmela is survived by her two sisters Sue Pagliocco and Tina Nigro, both of North Carolina and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, May 11, 2026 4:00pm – 8:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday, May 12, 2026 10:00am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp.  Burial to follow at BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
