Carolyn J. Smith

Carolyn J. Smith (nee Kamping), 79, of Galloway Twp., NJ, passed away while surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Seashore Gardens Living Center.

Born in Trenton, NJ, she lived in Lakewood, NJ, Toms River, NJ and Winter Haven, FL before moving to Galloway 2 years ago.

Carolyn was predeceased by her husband Kenneth W. Smith in 2012.

She is survived by her five children Scott (Christy) Smith, Vicki (Duane) Blocker, Kevin (Doris) Smith, and Todd (Nancy) Smith, Sherri (Tony) Smith, fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, July 25, 2024 5:00pm – 9:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.  A funeral service will be offered Friday, July 26, 2024 10:00am at the funeral home.  Burial to follow at the BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to her favorite charity – Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia or to Seashore Gardens Living Center where she received exceptional care during her battle with Parkinson's disease.
