Catherine B. Immesberger

Catherine Bernadette Immesberger, 94, of Ocean Beach Shores, Toms River Twp., NJ, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023.  Born in Jersey City, NJ, she lived in New Milford, NJ before moving to Ocean Beach Shores in 1972.  Catherine was a parishioner of Sacred Heart RC Church, Bay Head, NJ and was a member of the church’s Rosary Altar Society.

She was predeceased by her husband, Gerard Immesberger, in 2000.

Catherine is survived by her four daughters and their spouses, Kathleen Immesberger-Nash of Denver, CO., Nancy and Gary Hochschild of Onancock, VA, Loraine Immesberger of Robbinsville, NJ and Noreen and Kerry Hilton of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday,  May 26, 2023, at 9:30am at Sacred Heart RC Church, Bay Head, NJ.  Burial to follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood, NJ.  Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 706 Grand Central Ave., Lavallette, NJ is in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Southern Ocean County Hospital Hospice, 80 Nautilus Dr., Stafford Township, NJ 08050.
