Charles Frederick Gonder Jr.

Charles Frederick Gonder, Jr., 95, of Toms River, NJ, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025.

Born in Bayonne, NJ, he was a longtime resident of Toms River.

Charles served in the United States Army and was a Korean War Veteran.

He worked at the Bayonne Navy Base for the Federal Government for many years before his retirement.

Charles was predeceased by his parents Charles F Gonder, Sr. and Helen (Nee Zigray) Gonder and his sister Amy Pratt.

He is survived by his niece Suzanne Lozinak of Williamsville, NY and several other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, December 18, 2025 3:00pm – 5:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday, December 19, 2025 10:00am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp. Burial to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.
