Charles J. Wilson

   Charles J. Wilson, 87, of Bayville, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he lived in Bayville, NJ since 1984. Charles was a member of the Air National Guard of NJ before serving in the United States Army. He was a supervisor at various steel companies throughout New Jersey and Texas. Charles was a parishioner of St. Barnabas RC Church, Bayville, NJ. 

He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Arlene (nee Lynch); his five loving children Charles Wilson and wife Dawn of South Toms River, NJ, Thomas Wilson and wife Patricia of Howell, NJ, MaryBeth Waugh of Bayville, NJ, Mark Wilson of Washington, DC and Paul Wilson of Forked River, NJ; his eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; his five sisters Barbara Carroll, Gail O’Donnell, Joan Hoekstra, Janet Amato and Elizabeth Holzer and many nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Elizabeth Wilson as well as his son in-law George Waugh. 

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday December 4, 2022 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals O’Connell Chapel, 706 Hwy 9, Bayville, NJ.  A Mass of Christian Burial will  be offered on Monday December 5, 2022 at 10am at St. Barnabas RC Church,  Bayville, NJ.  Burial will follow to BG William C Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
