With profound sadness we announce the passing of Charles Robert Skowronski, 72, of Berkeley Twp., NJ.
Charles was born in 1949 to Albert and Florence Skowronski of South Amboy, where he lived until he married Linda in May of 1994. Linda was his best friend, soulmate and loving wife of 27 years. Together they started their life in North Brunswick.
Charles worked in Edison at JFK Medical Center where he worked for 25 years as the Director of the Sterile Processing Department. He then worked for the South Brunswick Board of Education for approximately 10 years before retiring with his wife to Toms River. NJ.
Charles will be fondly remembered for his enthusiasm and passion in building and running his remote-control model trains and airplanes. He loved his pets, and we know he is surrounded by his beloved fur babies that crossed the rainbow bridge.
He is survived by his loving wife Linda, devoted sister Gloria; numerus cousins; sister-in-law Judy Geissler; and many nephews and nieces.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Albert and Florence Skowronski.
Charles was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with family and friends. He will be sorely missed but not forgotten. We can hear him say now, please don't cry because I'm gone; but smile and be happy because I was here. I will be in your hearts and by your side always.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, January 15, 2022 11:00am – 3:00pm with a funeral service to be offered at 1:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.
