Christine "Chris" H. Fox

Christine (Chris) H. Fox, 61, of Beachwood, NJ, entered into the arms of Jesus on Thursday June 11, 2020 at her home. Christine was born in Red Bank, NJ, raised in Upper Montclair, NJ and lived in Beachwood, NJ. She graduated from St. Cassian’s Elementary School in 1972 and Montclair High School in 1976.  Chris graduated from Mountainside School of Radiologic Technology in 1981; graduated from Widener University in 2000; received her Nursing degree from Ocean County College in 2006 and continued her education at Chamberlain University College of Nursing.  She worked at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ as a Radiology Technician and was a Registered Nurse for Deborah Hospital in Browns Mills, NJ. Chris shared her knowledge of cardiac procedures as a preceptor/teacher/mentor.

Chris is predeceased by her parents John Fox and Evalyn Marie Fox Berlenbach and her brother John J. Fox. She is survived by her siblings Kathleen Harper of Ontario, CA; Michael Fox and his wife Rosanna of Nashua, NH; Timothy Fox and his wife Barbara of Randolph, NJ; Mary Anne Fox of Pawleys Island, SC; and Evelyn Wavrek and her husband Stephen of Flemington, NJ; and a sister-in-law, Jane Fox of Danville, VA; eleven nieces and nephews; five great nieces and great nephews; and a great-great nephew.

Chris was active at The Presbyterian Church of Toms River and a counselor at Hope Sheds Light. 

Chris loved traveling, especially cruising and her favorite hobbies were scrapbooking and cooking. She loved her nursing career and continued her education to be a better nurse. She was an avid collector of all types of fox knick knacks and loved experimenting with recipes. She was a loving sister and aunt to her family. Chris made friends wherever she went and had a knack for making people happy.  People were just drawn to her.

The arrangements are under the direction of the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. Committal will be private. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday June 12, 2021 at 1pm at the Presbyterian Church of Toms River.
