Connie (Tedesco) Allegretto

Connie Allegretto (Tedesco), 93 of Toms River passed from this life peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 22, 2023.  Connie was born February 3, 1930 in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late Albert and Elizabeth Tedesco.  She cherished spending time with family and friends whether away on vacation or in Atlantic City.  She loved to swim in the ocean and worshipped the sun.  She had a love of music and a gift for songwriting.  She was a proud American who taught gratitude at every step.  She was a fierce friend, a wonderful mother and devoted wife to the love of her life Paulie and the most fun grandmother around.  She had character.  She will be greatly missed. 

Connie is predeceased by her parents, Albert Tedesco; Elizabeth Sesta Tedesco; husband, Paul Allegretto; brothers, Arty Tedesco; Patty Tedesco; sisters, Rose Romano and Arlene Tedesco.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Alayne Whalen and her husband Steve son, Alan Allegretto and his wife Maria; grandchildren, Kelly Hoffman; Steven Allegretto; Patty Sabey; Daniel Allegretto; Lucas Allegretto;  great grandchildren, Kurt Sabey; Penny Sabey; Nolan Hoffman and Stevie Alayne Hoffman.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 4pm to 8pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am, Thursday, October 26, 2023 at St. Joseph RC Church, Toms River with Entombment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
