Constance M (Mee) Christian

Constance M. Christian nee Mee, 90 of Toms River, NJ died on Tuesday October 24, 2023. Connie was born at home in Newark, NJ to Jeremiah and Ellen Comer Mee on the Feast of All Saints. Connie attended Good Counsel School in Newark and later worked at the restaurant and coffee shop at Newark Airport. After marrying her husband of nearly 57 years, George H. Sr., they lived in Newark, then moved to Neptune and Wanamassa before settling in Toms River. Connie worked in retail for several stores including Builders Emporium and Jamesway. She was a past parishioner and member of the Rosary Alter Society at Holy Innocents RC Church in Neptune, NJ, Holy Spirit RC Church, Asbury Park and a parishioner of St Joseph RC Church in Toms River, NJ. Connie was always active and loved taking care of others, especially her children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of nearly 57 years, George H. Sr, her son Thomas J. Sr. and son-in-law, Robert Royle. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia E. of Brick, sons George H. Jr. of Toms River and Paul R. of Colorado, daughter-in-law Kelly Christian, grandchildren Thomas J. Jr. (Krystal), Virginia, Lauren E., Colorado and Lindsay M.(Matthew Wivell), Texas, and great-grandchildren, Thomas J. III, Conor P., and Willam M. Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 3 to 7pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St Catherine Blvd Toms River, NJ. The Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 10am at St Maximilian Kolbe RC Church in Toms River. Burial will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River.
