Constantine “Gus” James Angelides, 73, of Belleville, NJ, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025.
Born in East Orange, NJ, he grew up in Belleville, NJ and graduated from Belleville High School in 1969. He later received his Bachelor’s Degree in 1973 from the University of Albuquerque and his Master’s Degree in Social Sciences from Montclair State College in the late 1970’s.
Gus worked in Social Services for the State of New Jersey.
He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees, the New York Jets and the New York Knicks.
Gus was predeceased by his parents James and Helen Angelides, his paternal grandparents Anthony and Alexandra Angelides, his maternal grandparents John and Macroola Emanual, his uncle Gus Emanual and his aunt Effie Marcus.
He is survived by his sister Joanne Angelides, cousins Elizabeth Marcus, Helen Oliva, Bartolomeo Oliva, Alexandra Andusko and three great cousins.
Services will be private and under the direction of the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 706 Grand Central Ave., Lavallette, NJ.
