Craig Rucki Obituary

Craig Albert Rucki, 57, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away at his home.

Born in Newark, NJ he was a long time resident of Toms River, NJ before moving to South Carolina recently.

Craig was a Sergeant with the Toms River Police Department for 25 years.

He was a member of Knights of Columbus in Hillside, and was past member and Officer of the PBA, FOP, and POA.

Craig was a parishioner of St. Joseph RC Church, Toms River, NJ.

He was preceded in death by his parents Albert Rucki and Irene (Pagowski) Rucki.

Surviving are his loving wife Patricia (Rankin) Rucki; his four daughters Kyle Ann Rucki, Karissa Rucki, Jennifer Hass and her husband Tom and Kristen Lelievre; his sister Susan; his four grandchildren Patrick, Kaylei, Jamie, and Brendan; his extended family Maureen and Ed Rankin, Sharon and Tony Petty, Robert and Ruth Rankin, Elaine Rankin, Tara and Joe Bonelli; his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends that are like family and his brothers and sisters in blue.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday 4:00pm to 7:00pm at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday 10:00am at St. Joseph RC Church, Toms River, NJ. Burial will follow to St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood, NJ.

Donations may be made in Craig’s name to Wounded Warrior Project.
