Dennis Morton

Dennis Morton, 76 of Holiday City Berkeley section of Berkeley Township passed away on Wednesday May 14, 2025, at Concord Healthcare in Lakewood, NJ.

He was born in Montclair, NJ, grew up in Carteret, NJ then lived in Seaside Park for many years.

He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

Dennis was a Heavy Equipment Operator with Seaside Heights Borough for many years.

He was a member of the Toms River Elks Lodge, Knights of Columbus, Ortley Moose, Seaside Heights American Legion and a Teamster.

Dennis loved to fish, host wine tastings, and root for his beloved New York Yankees & New York Giants.

He is survived by his brothers, Brian of Toms River, NJ and Bob of Whiting, NJ, his sister Doreen Winters of Barnegat, NJ and many loving nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday May 18, 2025, at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ from 2pm to 5pm with a 4pm Service. The burial will be held on Tuesday 11:30am at the BG William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
