Diana B. (Bianchetti) Balestro

Diana B. Balestro (nee Bianchetti), 87, of Holiday City Berkeley, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 with her family by her side.

Born in Scranton, PA, raised in Newark, NJ then moved to Union NJ where she raised her children. She then moved to Seaside Park NJ, before residing in Toms River, NJ in 1995.

Diana worked at her family owned Luncheonette in Union NJ and then worked at Peter Pan diner in Union for 18 years.  Diana then moved on to B & B Pharmacy in Seaside Park for many years before she retired.  

Diana was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp.

Diana was predeceased by her husband Gerard “Jerry” Balestro in 2021 and sister Patricia Ippolito.  

Diana is survived by her two children Jerry Balestro and his wife Karen of Warminster, PA and Thelma Gardner and her husband Joseph of Toms River, four grandchildren Karisa and her husband Tim, Victoria, Joseph, Nicole and a great grandchild Trent.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday, December 1, 2023 10:00am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, St. Maximilian Way, Berkeley Twp. Interment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
