With our deepest sympathies and heavy hearts, we share the passing of Diane Catherine Zicha (nee Russo), age 70, of Jackson, NJ, while surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday, June 23, 2024.
Born on March 1, 1954 in Hackensack, NJ, Diane lived in Paramus, NJ and was raised in Manalapan, NJ. Diane later lived in Oxford, NY and Monroe, NJ before moving to Jackson, NJ in 1988.
Diane was a Human Resource Compensation Analyst for CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, NJ.
She was predeceased by her parents Tommaso (Thomas) Rudolfo Russo and June Catherine (nee Lohse) Russo.
Diane is survived by her husband of 47 years Frank Zicha, her five children Jaime Santiago and her husband Rafael of Jackson, NJ, Kelli Zicha of Manalapan, NJ, Alicia Nicosia and her husband Vincent of Jackson, NJ, Kimberly Zicha of Red Bank, NJ, and Frank Zicha of Upper Freehold, NJ, a sister Deborah Russo Boyle and her husband Robert of South Plainfield, NJ, her twin brother Thomas Russo and his wife Rosemary of Butler, NJ, her cherished five grandchildren Jeanette, Lia, Vincent, and Lois Nicosia, and Nicolas Santiago, and her nieces and nephews.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, June 27, 2024 5:30pm - 7:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals DeBow Chapel, 150 West Veterans Hwy, Jackson, NJ. Committal will be private.
Diane's dedication to her family was unwavering, and she imparted the essence of unity and love to her children, fostering a forever close-knit bond. Family meant everything to Diane, and she instilled the importance of family in each of her five children. She was a loving, caring, supportive, and selfless mother. Because of Diane, her family will forever grow in close-knit, and her loving memory will live on forever through her children. Her legacy of love will endure through generations, a testament to her nurturing spirit and selflessness.
