Dolores M. Thompson, 80 of South Toms River, NJ passed away on Friday December 13, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ

Born in Jersey City, NJ she lived in Bayville before moving to South Toms River 40 years ago.

She was a parishioner of St. Barnabas RC Church, Bayville, NJ.

Dolores is survived by her loving daughters; Tobi and Lori Thompson, her sister Maria Dickert, her dear grandchildren Robert and Kayla Wojtaszek, many nieces and nephews, and as well as many friends who considered her family.

She was known for her love of life. She enjoyed music and dancing along with spending time with her family whether it was traveling or being home. She was a dedicated loving mother and grandmother and fiercely loyal friend. She will be in our hearts forever.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 3pm to 7pm with a 5:30pm Service at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals O’Connell Chapel, 706 RT 9 Bayville, NJ 08721. Committal will be Private. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com
