Dominick proudly served with honor in the Air National Guard during the Korean War.
He was a Tool and Die Maker for the American Can Company in Jersey City and Edison for his entire working career. He also served as an officer and was on the negotiation team for the company’s union.
He was a faithful parishioner of St. Joseph RC Church in Toms River, NJ for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Joan M. (Goodheart) Piromalli in 2023. She was the love of his life.
Surviving is his son Frank J. Piromalli ( Joan) of Lumberton, NJ and his daughter Joanne DeGoria (Bob) of Yardley, Pa, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Family was the most important thing in his life and brought him so much joy. He was very proud of his five grandchildren; Robert (Sonja), Frankie (Emily), Michael (Carolyn), Christine, and Paul (Dana). He was always in attendance at their sporting events or any other activities in which they participated.
Dominick was thrilled to have those seven great grandchildren; Mason, Sienna, Dominick, Damian, Roman, Matteo and Dean who brought him so much pleasure and laughter.
He was very active in the SRPN men’s club and organized many dances and social events at Silver Ridge North.
If the music was playing, he and his favorite dance partner, Joan, could be found on the dance floor. He enjoyed playing cards, bocci ball and going to the beach. Dominick and Joan enjoyed going on cruises and taking vacations with the family and friends. He was an avid NY Giants fan and he could not go without enjoying his beer and pretzels. He had a positive outlook on life. He was an honest, caring man who was loved and respected by all who knew him.
