Donald J. Bingle

Donald J. Bingle, 79, of Toms River, NJ, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he lived in Union, NJ before moving to Toms River in 1988.

Donald was a Union Township Firefighter for 33 years before his retirement.

He was a United States Army Vietnam War Veteran and a recipient of the Purple Heart for injuries sustained during battle.

Donald was predeceased by his parents Edmund and Ruth Bingle.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years Maria (nee Silva), and his son Peter Bingle of Toms River.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 4:00pm – 7:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday, May 20, 2026 10:00am at St. Joseph RC Church, Toms River. Entombment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
