Doris Diskin

Doris Diskin, 91, of Berkeley Twp., NJ, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was a longtime resident of Brooklyn before moving to Berkeley Twp. 27 years ago.

Doris was a Bank Manager for various banks in Queens, NY throughout her career.

Doris was recently received into the Orthodox Church. Her baptism was performed by Fr. Gary Breton of Holy Annunciation Orthodox Church in Brick, NJ

Doris was predeceased by her husband Charles in 2008 and her grandson Amir Eid.

She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth, six grandchildren Shannon Cohen, Ashley Cohen, Julianna Cohen, Mustafa Eid, Mousa Eid and Janine Eid, and 8 great grandchildren.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, October 30, 2025 3:00pm – 7:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. A funeral service will be offered Friday, October 31, 2025 11:30am at the funeral home.  Burial to follow at the BG General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
