Dorothy (Pissott) Budka

Dorothy Budka (nee Pissott) "Dot" age 79, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on May 28, 2021, in Toms River, NJ.

She was born to the late Ambrose C. Pissott and the late Wilhelmina Pissott (nee Yelland) in Wilkes Barre, PA. She resided in Jersey City, Bayonne, and Roselle before moving to Toms River in 2006.

She is predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Walter F. Budka Jr., in 2005; her sister, Ann Marie Yurkon and two brothers, William C. Pissott and Henry Pissott.

Dorothy was a devoted mother and survived by her four sons, Mr. Walter Budka and his wife, Rose of Colonia, Mr. Wayne Budka of Browns Mills, Mr. Steven Budka of Bayonne, and Mr. Bruce Budka of Toms River; three grandchildren, April (Harvey) Gowin, Wendy (Jim) Berardi, and Nicole Budka; eight great-grandchildren; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and her siblings, Liz (Raymond) Meyers, James (Florence) Pissott and Patricia (Scott) Polack.

Dot enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends, going shopping, and going out to eat.
