Dorothy "Dottie" Catherine Mason

Dorothy “Dottie” Catherine Mason, 76 of Jackson Township, passed from this life peacefully on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. Dorothy was born May 15, 1949, in Summit, New Jersey to the late Matthew and Emma Getto. Dottie was a loving wife, devoted mother, trusted friend and proud grandmother.  She always wore a bright smile and had a great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Dottie is predeceased by her parents, Matthew Getto; Emma Rapp Getto; husband, Gary Mason; daughters, Laura Huxford; Laura Lee Alfrey; sisters, Phyllis Benward and Barbara Getto.

Dottie is survived by her son, Charles England and his wife Jennifer; daughters, Susan Moore and her husband, Nick; Cindy Mason; brothers, Michael Getto and his wife Pat; Paul Getto and his wife Arlene and 21 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 10am to 11:30am at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals DeBow Chapel, 150 W. Veterans Hwy., Jackson with Burial to follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
