Edward O. “Eddie” Estelle Jr., 56, of Manchester Township, New Jersey, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Born on April 5, 1969, Eddie grew up in Lakewood, where he graduated with the Class of 1987 before continuing his education at Ocean County College, Class of 1989.
Eddie built a dedicated career with Owen & Little Associates in Beachwood, NJ, and previously worked for the Lakewood Board of Education. He was also a proud former coach with Manchester Little League, where he touched the lives of many young athletes. Known for his easy going nature and warm sense of humor, Eddie made lasting friendships everywhere he went.
He was predeceased by his father, Edward O. Estelle Sr.; his aunt and uncle, Gary and Sarah Schaefer; his uncle, Carl Davison; and his brother-in-law, Bobby Longstreet.
Eddie is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine, and his devoted son, Troy, who were the greatest joys of his life. He is also survived by his mother, Audrey Estelle; his sister, Dawn Carpenter, and her husband Jimmy; his brothers-in-law, Tommy Longstreet and his wife Kim, and Jackie Longstreet and his wife Elda. Eddie leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
A passionate sports fan, Eddie proudly cheered for the Dallas Cowboys, enjoyed NASCAR, and was a loyal Wall Stadium racing regular. He also loved attending Lakewood BlueClaws games and following the Philadelphia Phillies, sharing countless sports moments with family and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 3:00–6:00 PM at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, NJ 08757. A funeral gathering will be offered on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM, with a funeral service immediately following at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Adelphia Cemetery, Wyckoff Mills Road, Freehold, NJ.
Eddie will be remembered for his generous heart, unwavering loyalty, and the love he had for his family. His presence will be profoundly missed, but the memories he leaves behind will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who knew him.
