Eileen Coviello

Eileen Coviello, 87 of Toms River, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.  Eileen was born July 3, 1933 in North Bergen, New Jersey. She was a lifelong resident of Union City, New Jersey employed as a Parking Violations Officer for the Union City Police Dept. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and trusted sister and friend. Also a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and loving Godmother of Debbie Zegular. She was loved by everyone who knew her.  She will be greatly missed.

Eileen is predeceased by her parents, Anthony Maglione and Rose Davis Maglione; husband, Vincent “Jimmy” Coviello; daughter, Donna Rose Mehl; sisters, Marie Zegular, Rosie Zegular, Doris Maglione and brothers Joseph, Thomas, Anthony, Kenneth, Martin, Leslie and Andy; also beloved niece Judith Ann Maglione Ganley.

Eileen is survived by sisters Eleanor Rich and Helen Davidson also daughters; Lynne Trifun and husband Louie Trifun, Cathy Durant and her husband Jose “Angel” Ruiz, Rosemarie “Cookie” Durant and grandchildren; Andres Ruiz, Jay Trifun and his wife Coleen Trifun, Janice Mendez and her husband Bryan Skokandich, Jillian Trifun Emery and husband Bill Emery; Kelly Schor and great grandchildren; Casey Schor, Olivia Ruiz, Michaela Trifun, Jayden Trifun, and Dennis Matthew Davenport.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 3pm to 7pm at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.  Commital services will be held privately.
