Eleanor Saks, 98, of Lavallette, NJ, passed away in the loving care of her granddaughter Suzanne Kosanke Chapman, surrounded by family on Thursday, April 22, 2021. Born in Staten Island, NY, she moved to Lavallette 50 years ago. She was a Sales Person for Bamberger’s in Toms River, NJ, a parishioner of the Union Church of Lavallette, and a member of the Lavallette First Aid Squad Auxiliary. Eleanor is preceded in death by her husband James P. Saks, her grandson Robert Kuhla, her parents John and Caroline Richards, as well as her siblings; John, Ken, Eunice, Florence, Ethel, and Irene. She is survived by her five daughters; Paula Bladowski, Sandra Kuhla, Carolyn Barnett, Kathryn Barresi, and Susan Kosanke, twelve grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren. All arrangements are private and entrusted to the care of the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 706 Highway 35 N., Lavallette, NJ.
