Eleanor Tuite

Eleanor Tuite, 95 of Holiday City West section of Berkeley Township passed away on Sunday November 17, 2024 at Whiting Gardens in Manchester, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, she moved to Florida for 21 years. The family moved Eleanor up to Holiday City West in 2008. Eleanor was an overseas Operator with AT&T in New York City, NY for many years. Eleanor was administrator of pupil transportation for South Shore High School in Brooklyn, NY for over 20 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Harold and her son Robert.

Surviving are her son Martin Tuite, two daughters; Maureen Barbieri and her husband Robert, and Denise Tuite, her brother; James Gee and her sister; Kathleen Herold, five grandchildren; Gabreille, Michael, Matthew, Danielle, and Brittany and three great grandchildren; Evelyn, Ethan and Elizabeth. Family will receive friends and relatives on Sunday November 24, 2024 from 2 to 5pm at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. A Mass will be celebrated on Monday November 25, 2024 at 10am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Township, NJ. Committal will be Private.
