Elizabeth V. Lahner

Elizabeth V. Lahner (nee Volkodav), 62, of East Norriton, PA passed away on Tuesday April 22, 2025 at Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital, East Norriton, PA

She was born in Philadelphia, PA and lived in North Wales, PA before moving to East Norriton, PA.

Elizabeth received a Bachelor Degree from Penn State University. And while there was a photographer for the Penn State football team.

She was a parishioner of St. Vladimir’s RO Church, Jackson, NJ

Elizabeth was the Office manager for her husband’s business Kenneth L. Lahner C.P.A. in Norristown, PA

Every year for the past 15 years, Elizabeth ran the Great Tomato Plant Giveaway (Tomatogal.com) to encourage everyone, gardeners and non-gardeners alike, to grow their own tomato plants. She did this by giving away free plants on her birthday, May 15. Over the years, hundreds of people took advantage of her generosity to start their own gardens.

She is preceded in death by her parents George and Helen Volkodav.

Surviving is her husband Kenneth L. Lahner and her brother Demetrius Volkodav.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday 9am followed by a 10am Funeral Service at St. Vladimir’s RO Church, Jackson, NJ. Burial will follow to St. Vladimir’s Cemetery, Jackson, NJ.
