Elizabeth I. (Manifold) Pierson

Elizabeth I. Pierson, age 90, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 peacefully surrounded by her family. 

Elizabeth was born in Bronx, NY to George and Edna Manifold on April 13, 1931.  She also had two brothers, the late Daniel and George Manifold.

Elizabeth’s passion in life was her family.  She married her loving husband, Robert, on April 18, 1953.  Together, they raised their three children in Toms River, NJ.  She enjoyed family gatherings and watching her children and grandchildren grow. 

She was an avid reader and loved gardening.  She also enjoyed playing cards with her lifelong card club and doing puzzles for hours.

She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Robert Pierson and her two loving brothers, Daniel and George Manifold.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Nancy Pierson and a longtime family friend Donna Schneller, Lisa Pierson and her husband Richard Santiago, her son Robert Pierson and his wife Patricia and their three children Anthony, Daniel, and Kayla.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, November 28, 2021 3:00pm – 7:00pm and Monday November 29, 2021 9:00am until the funeral service at 10:00am at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.  Entombment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
