Elizabeth "Bette" (Gaynor) Mageean

Elizabeth “Bette” Gaynor Mageean, 92 of Berkeley Township, originally of Union, passed from this life peacefully on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Elizabeth was born July 21, 1928 in Kearny, New Jersey to the late John Gaynor and Elizabeth Wiggins Gaynor. Bette was a loving wife, devoted mother and trusted friend to many. She was a member of Silver Ridge Womans Club and St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church. She was a strong supporter of Deborah Hospital. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Bette is predeceased by her parents, John and Elizabeth Gaynor; husband, John Mageean; and son, Terrence Mageean.

Bette is survived by her son, John “Jack” Mageean and his wife Marylou of Toms River and daughter Denise Mageean of Cedar Grove.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 7, 2021 from 10am to 12pm with a service to begin at 11am at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, N.J.
