Elizabeth "Betty" A. (Hill) McDaniel

"Elizabeth “Betty” Arline McDaniel (née Hill), 76, of Beachwood, NJ, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on March 14, 1950, in Wareham, Massachusetts, Betty was the daughter of John "Jack" Watson and Erona (Maunders) Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Donald Hill, and her beloved son, Ryan McDaniel.

Betty is survived by her devoted husband, Wayne McDaniel; her daughters, Carrie Marzulli and her husband, Mike Marzulli, and Jenifer Earley and her husband, Justin Earley; her beloved grandchildren, Emma Marzulli, Hannah Marzulli, Justin Earley, Shane Earley, and Tyler Earley; and her siblings, Kenneth Hill and Lynn Hartshorn.

Known to many as "2C Betty" during her years as a Unit Secretary at Community Medical Center in Toms River, Betty was spunky, outspoken, and never afraid to speak her mind, yet those closest to her knew her kind and sensitive heart. She loved fashion, adored monkeys, and always had a story to share.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 706 Route 9, Bayville, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River, NJ. "
