EllenLouise (Wint) Ondash

EllenLouise Wint Ondash, 87, passed peacefully from this life Wednesday, February 10, 2021  at her Toms River home surrounded by loved ones.  EllenLouise was born December 28, 1933 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.  She was a loving wife, devoted mother,  grandmother and great-grandmother.  She graduated from Wilkes College in Pennsylvania in 1955, earning her bachelor’s degree.  She honorably served her country as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps.  She served her community by working as a social worker in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  She married on September 2, 1961. EllenLouise enjoyed gardening, flowers, music, travel, playing golf, attending Broadway Shows and visits to Atlantic City.  She will be greatly missed.

EllenLouise is predeceased by her parents, William C. Wint; Janet Walters Wint; and husband, Bernard S. Ondash.

EllenLouise is survived by her son, Wint Alaric Ondash of Marlton; daughters, MaryBeth Lawton of New Hope, Minnesota; Janine Gorsak of Toms River; grandchildren, Ethan Gorsak; Kirsten Gorsak; Erik Gorsak; Sarah Bickler; and great grandchildren Isaac Bickler and Clara Bickler.

A Memorial Service will be held at Hope Presbyterian Church on March 14th and a graveside service will be held privately at Oaklawn cemetery in Wilkes-Barre.
