Erma Dail Tanfara,( nee Ingalls) of the Silver Ridge Park North section of Berkeley Township, NJ entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 6, 2021.
Born in Norfolk, Virginia, Erma resided in Hasbrouck Heights, Little Ferry, Blairstown and Clifton before moving to Berkeley Township.
Erma is survived by her loving husband Anthony whom she was married to for 50 years. She is also survived by her children, daughter, Debbie Thompson and her husband Wayne, daughter, Gordana Curovic and her significant other, Brian Hemstreet, and son, Anthony Tanfara and his wife, Barbara. Her son, James Christopher Ball predeceased her
She was loved by her grandchildren: Gina Curovic, Hailey Vaughn, Diana Curovic and Kristina Tanfara and her great grandchildren Sariya and Zuri Raisin.
Erma liked to dance and listen to music. She often colored and played games with her grandchildren. She also liked to entertain with family and friends. Erma will be missed by family members and friends, including Donna and Jerko Tanfara, Jerka and Ivo Mrsic and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Celebration will be offered on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Roman Catholic Church, Berkeley Township. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
