Eugene Matos, 75 of Absecon, NJ passed away on Friday September 20, 2024 at Seashore Gardens, Galloway, NJ

Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico he lived in Elizabeth, NJ and was a longtime resident of Toms River, NJ before moving to Absecon, NJ.

Eugene was a Union Carpenter with Engo Company in South Plainfield, NJ for many years.

He is survived by his loving wife Josephine (Vigliotti) of Absecon, NJ his daughter Christy Matos of Absecon, NJ and his two sons John and his wife Carla of Forked River, NJ and Gene of Absecon, NJ, two dear grandchildren; Matthew and Anna.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday September 24, 2024 from 4pm to 7pm at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday September 25, 11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow to St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River, NJ.
