Fiorenzo "Fred" F. Fanizzo

Fiorenzo “Fred” Fanizzo, 98, of Toms River, NJ passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021. Born in Montclair, NJ, he lived in Newark and Bloomfield, NJ before moving to Toms River in 1987. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corp during World War 2. and then established a career as a Contract Manager for the United States Government.

He was a active member of the American Legion, the Knights of Columbus, the DAV, and the Italian American Club.

 He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Rosina, his parents John and Juana, and his siblings, Victoria, Daniel, and Rose. He is survived by his sons; Dr Michael Fanizzo and his wife Adrienne of Bay Head, NJ, and John Fanizzo of Pt Pleasant, NJ, three grandchildren; Alexandra, Michael, and Keturah, as well as four great grandchildren; Ella, Olivia, Mia, and Henry.

Arrangements are private and entrusted to the care of the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St Catherine Blvd., Toms River, NJ.
