Florence Wepner (Markusiewicz), 82 of Toms River, NJ passed away on Sunday March, 1, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, and later raised her family in Old Bridge, NJ. She was a woman whose presence filled every room – glamorous, quick-witted, and full of spunk, and always ready with a remark that would make everyone laugh. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donald Wepner; her daughter, Jeannine Giannantonio-Latimer; and her son Gerard Giannantonio. Though she endured profound loss, she carried herself with strength, humor, and grace. Florence is survived by her loving daughter Michelle and her husband Raymond Murphy; her son Michael Giannantonio, her son in law Richard Goldman, and her step-daughter Donna Wepner-Watson; and her cherished grandchildren: Michael Murphy and his fiancee Ashley, Sean Murphy and his wife Ashley, Stephen Murphy and his wife Lauren, Brian Murphy and his wife Samantha, Matthew Murphy, Isabella Giannantonio, Nolan Giannantonio and his wife Emilee, Chelsy Saldivar, Allison Latimer, Rachel Latimer, Kyle Watson, and Ryan Watson. She was also a proud great-grandmother and “Babci” of Greyson, Nora, Caroline, and Eloise, Holden, and Harper. Florence will be remembered not only for her beauty and style, but her sharp humor and resilience, and the way she made those around her feel special. She had a spark that never dimmed and a personality that could not be forgotten. The family will receive friends on Wednesday March 4, 2026 from 4pm to 7pm at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 995 Fischer Blvd. Toms River, NJ. A Mass will be held on Thursday March 5, 2026 at St. Justin’s RC Church, Toms River, NJ at 9:30am.
