Frances (Brown) Touhey

Frances Touhey (nee Brown), 87, of Toms River, NJ, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025.

Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, she lived in Chadwick Beach before moving to Toms River in 1984.

Frances was a Unit Secretary for Community Medical Center, Toms River and was a parishioner of St. Justin the Martyr RC Church, Toms River.

She was predeceased by her husband James in 2006.

Frances is survived by her daughter and son in law Joan and Pat Gallagher of Toms River, NJ, a brother Thomas Brown Toms River, NJ, three grandchildren Mary Kate Lombardo and her husband Kenny, Tracy Gallagher and Jamie Gallagher and two great grandchildren Arison and Aurelia Lombardo.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, April 21, 2025 4:00pm – 8:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River.    A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday, April 22, 2025 9:30am at St. Justin the Martyr RC Church, Toms River.  Entombment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
