Francesca Angela Mirabella

Francesca Angela Mirabella, 67, of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2024, with her wife and family by her side. Francesca was born and raised in Queens, NY, then while she attended college in Rhode Island her family moved to North Conway, NH. She then earned her Juris Doctorate from Western State University in San Diego, CA. Francesca spent many years in San Diego, and she cherished the lifelong friendships she made while living there before settling in New Jersey with her wife and family. Francesca’s career started in law, then transitioned to IT for many years before her retirement. 

Francesca is survived by her wife, Marlene D. Spittler, her brother James and his wife Judy Mirabella, and sisters Cecelia Hibbert and Anita (Mirabella) Cheney and her husband Steven; as well as a large extended family: Roger and Kim Spittler, Richard and Mary Spittler, Kenneth and Laurie Spittler, 16 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and great nephews.

Francesca is predeceased by her parents, James and Grace (Rudyanski) Mirabella and her sister, Maria J. Mirabella.

To all who knew her, she was a gentle soul, a special person beloved by all with an infectious laugh who loved her family and friends deeply. Francesca enjoyed traveling, hiking, skiing, a good band, and getting together with friends and family for any reason.
