Frank Aresta, Sr

Frank Aresta Sr. 78 of Toms River, NJ died peacefully after a brief illness on Tuesday July 30, 2024. Born in Monopoli, Italy Frank proudly immigrated to the US in 1955 on the ship Andria Doria. He was a sweet, kind, and gentle man with an excellent sense of humor. He raised his children in Hazlet, NJ before coming to Toms River. Frank worked in Accounts Payable for ATI in Port Newark for many years and was a parishioner of St Justin’s RC Church in Toms River. He is survived by 3 sons; Joseph (Tiffany O’Dwyer), Michael (Noell), Frank Jr. (Trish), daughter Angela Aresta, and his 5 grandchildren Jeremy, Landon, Jenna, Ryan, and Justin . He was the youngest of 6 siblings, survived by two brothers John (Nancy) and Anthony (Roseann) and two sisters Carmela DiRoma and Josephine Todisco and many nieces and nephews. Frank is predeceased by his loving wife Grace, his parents Guiseppe and Cosima, and his sister Saletta.

Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Sunday August 4, 2024 from 2 to 6pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 995 Fischer Blvd Toms River, NJ. The Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday 9:30 am at St Justin’s RC Church in Toms River with Entombment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park.
