Frank Mazzeo

Frank Mazzeo, 83, of Silver Beach, New Jersey, passed peacefully on Saturday, September 2, 2023. He was born October 8, 1939, to the late Nicholas and Adeline Mazzeo. Frank was a loving husband, devoted father, and grandfather. 

Frank is predeceased by his parents, Nicholas Mazzeo and Adeline Campanalungo.

Frank is survived by his wife, Elaine Boyle Mazzeo; sister, Sandra Fenton; brother Michael Mazzeo; daughter, Cheryl Lucas, and her husband Bradley Lucas; son, Nicholas Mazzeo; grandchildren, Kelsie Lucas, Alexandra Lucas, and Olivia Mazzeo.

He was raised in Montclair, New Jersey, and graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in economics and then served his country in the Army Reserve. He began his career as a claims adjuster for Allstate Insurance Company and retired as a special investigator 37 years later. He was lucky enough to retire at 57 and promptly began traveling with his wife throughout the U.S. and Europe. He enjoyed his retirement in Silver Beach, which he referred to as “paradise.” The only thing he loved more than his antique cars was his wife of 57 years.

The family will receive friends and family on Monday, September 11, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 706 Highway 35, North Lavallette, New Jersey.  A Catholic Burial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at St. Pio of Pietrelcina 103 Washington Ave, Lavallette, New Jersey 08735, with entombment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 62 Cedar Grove Rd, Toms River, New Jersey 08753.

He will be dearly missed.
