Frank P. Riina, 93, of Manchester, NJ passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. Frank was born in New York City, NY and lived in Wanaque, NJ before retiring to Manchester, NJ 22 years ago. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Frank was a banker for Midland Bank in Paramus, NJ. He was proud of his Italian heritage and he loved cooking, gardening, fishing, classical music, and the shore. He especially loved his family and was devoted to his wife, Margaret, 5 children, and 16 grandchildren. Frank was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Frank is predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Anna Riina and his sister Rose Limardo.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Margaret Riina (nee Moloney) of Manchester, NJ; his children Joseph and his wife Jody of Wayne, NJ (Matthew, Daniel, Joseph, Nicholas), Walter and his wife Jennifer of Maryland (Jacob, David), Robert and his wife Clare of Long Valley, NJ (Abbey, Charlotte), Frank and his wife Rowena of Bridgewater, NJ (Frank, Leia, Anthony, Jack) and Marie O’Connor and her husband Scott of Georgia (Zachary, Emma, Kelli, Sophia).
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 3-7pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 11am at St. John RC Church in Lakehurst, NJ. Burial will follow to BG William C Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
